Sean Healen Biography - Award Winning Singer Songwriter

Sean Healen is a POLIFIC New Mexico Based award winning singer/songwriter.
With music and lyrics reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and Steve Earle and a style at once intricate and eloquent, Sean is rapidly achieving the national stage.

2009 His album “Floodplain” was awarded Best Rock CD  at the New Mexcio Music Awards. “Floodplain” was produced by Multi Platinum producer John Kurzweg.

2011 “Crown Of Coal” was produced by Grammy winner and legendary producer Malcolm Burn. The title track :”Crown Of Coal” charted at 23 on the Jambands chart in Aug 2011.

2012 Musical Guest on Stephen Michael Quezada's "After After Party" with special guest Wes Studi on bass guitar.

2013 Sean was honored to escort the legendary Pete Townshend to the stage to receive the Les Paul Award

2014 Sean was a featured extra in Seth Macfarlane's "A Million Ways To Die In The West.

2014 Winner of the "Whisper To A Dream" song contest sponsored by Sennheiser, Impulse Groove Foundation, and Harmony Central

2015 Sean performed for Adam Sandler's Ridiculous Six kick off party and was one of Sandler's doubles in the movie.

2017 Sean was chosen to be a finale' guests vocalist at the first ever New Mexico Platinum Music Awards

2018 Recent singles Produced by Multi Platinum Producer Scott Mathews at Tikitown featuring special guest Chuck Prophet on lead guitar and backing vox. Released the single "Crashing" in May 2018.

2018 Sean is currently in the studio recording 52 new songs that will be featured on KBAC as Healen's New 52. A new song a week will be talked about and played for 52 weeks starting October 2018.
